The Department of Environmental Engineering was pleased to host Prof. Sajjad Ahmad during his four-month sabbatical visit, which was supported by the TÜBİTAK 2221 – Fellowship Program for Visiting Scientists and Scientists on Sabbatical Leave. Throughout his stay, he delivered hands-on workshops on EPA SWMM and stormwater calculation tools, and presented a departmental seminar on remote sensing applications in urban hydrology and the sustainable management of water resources. He also conducted collaborative research with Assoc.Prof. Nur H. Orak titled “Integration of the SWMM Model with Bayesian Networks for Evaluating the Hydrological Performance of Green Infrastructure Solutions.” In addition, Prof. Ahmad delivered a seminar at the Turkish Water Institute, where he shared insights from his ongoing research.
